John Sankay was born on April 6, 1974. He is married and the father of 5 children. From 2000 to 2012, worked to help refugees in Dzaleka Refugee camp in Malawi, as well as local Malawian citizens from neighboring cities and villages as a community leader, community counselor, interpreter, English as a Secondary Language (ESL) teacher and secretary of the Emmanuel Full Gospel Church foundation . He has a great passion of reaching out and helping the less privileged and needy. He has been a Board of Directors of Dzaleka Secondary school for 3 years, from 2010 to 2013. He has been on the Board of Directors of the UMOJA NI NGVU non profit organization, since its foundation. He is eager to go the extra mile to help refugees and immigrants coming to the United States of America, regardless of their social, ethnical, tribal, racial or religious background.
